Here, Pak Gusti Ngurah Ketut Putriyasa is working with his buffalo ploughing a very muddy furrow for the owner of the field. Ploughing the mud pushes last year�s rice stalks to the bottom to rot and provide nutrients for this year�s crop. He is a roving plough man who rents out the services of himself and his buffalo to farmers whose rice paddies need to be tilled.
