Ben Jack Dewa Burgoyne

Ben was born at 23:45 on the 9th August 2004 in our bathtub!

Anik was in labour for 18 hours but the actual birth was very fast indeed. He was 3Kg and 51cm when he emerged.

His forearm is the length of my middle finger, his whole hand smaller than one segment of my finger.

He sleeps on my chest and calms when I sing to him. Anik and I are very pleased when we say,

"Welcome to our world, Ben Burgoyne!"
