| AquaMarine is located in Legian (quieter than Kuta, popular with westerners
who live here) in the south-west of Bali just north of Kuta (young, backpackers) and within 30mins of the two other main tourist areas of Nusa
Dua (5* hotels) and Sanur (more popular with middle-aged Europeans).
As the dive sites we visit are located a few hours north-east and north-west, we travel through some very pretty Balinese countryside, seeing rice terraces, coastline, rural villages and Bali's most revered volcano Mount Agung on our journeys so, to take advantage of this, you should bring your camera. |
| Beach Barbeque Trip: 1dive Biaha, 1dive Blue Lagoon/Tepekong/Mimpang. Your
surface interval is spent on a white sand, usually deserted, beach just north of Biaha for a Barbeque Lunch of grilled fish, satays, salads and
Balinese vegetables and sauces.

| Canyon and Shark Point Day Trip: Diving at Mimpang and Tepekong. We don't
guarantee that you will see sharks here but we'll be extremely surprised if
you don't! In the event that either site is un-dividable, our back-up site is
the Blue Lagoon at which sharks are also frequently seen.

| Mola-Mola (Oceanic Sunfish) Day Trip: Diving at certain sites around Nusa
Penida, during the July-September season, we have a very good chance of seeing these weird and wonderful pelagic visitors to Bali's waters.

| Manta Point and Bat Cave Day Trip: Manta Point, south-west Nusa Penida, is where manta ray, tuna and tiger mackerel sometimes come in to feed. You have a good chance of seeing these pelagics, but it isn't guaranteed. The Bat Cave is on the north side of a small sheltered bay and, although the approach is from underwater, is open to the sky. A drift-dive along a wall heavily populated with lobsters, which may yield leopard shark and eagle rays comes after the Bat Cave. If you either don’t have time for an Open Water course or who just want to try scuba-diving, AquaMarine offers a special one day diving program where we’ll introduce you to the underwater world on the famous USAT Liberty Wreck, Tulamben (please see below). | SAFARIS A safari (diving/hotel package) is a great way to see more of Bali, visit several sites and cut down on traveling time. The price includes accommodation and, because you are staying near the dive sites, you can do earlier and later dives which means you can dive before and after the day trips and also gives different marine life and lighting as well as the opportunity to do more dives each day at the beach entry locations. |

AquaMarine can organise a safari to suit all personal requirements so please let us know which combination of sites you would be interested in diving, and we will put together a package for you. Snorkelling is available at Tulamben, Amed, Padangbai and Menjangan so partners and children can often join day trips and safaris with AquaMarine Diving - Bali. You will note that AquaMarine does not offer trips to Sanur or Nusa Dua/Tanjung Benoa. There is much better quality diving available in Bali -
with easier conditions - and we believe that the only benefit to diving in
either place is the location in the south of Bali so there is less traveling
involved. |
